      Thanks Jonson for your query. I find, you have already fixed most of the issues. The shadow of woman image is not from codes, contain itself. You can remove this by using photo editing software like photoshop.

    Hey, great theme! I’m loving it so far. I’m just trying to figure out how to put some space between the slider and my most recent post excerpt. Also, I’d like to make the titles of the posts in the slider larger, bolder and generally more visible. Thanks in advance!

      HI Ben,
      Thank you for your query.
      1. To put some space between the slider and most recent post excerpt, You have to change the value of “margin-top: 20px;” in style.css(line 142). “50px” is good.
      Please reset the related customization (a lot space before top post) that you have already made.

      2. To make the titles of the posts in the slider larger, bolder and generally more visible
      In style.css(line 588) delete:

      .site-header h1 a,
      .site-header h2 a {
      color: #515151;
      display: inline-block;
      font-weight: bold;
      }

      and paste:

      .site-header h1 a{
      color: #515151;
      display: inline-block;
      font-weight: bold;
      }
      .site-header h2 a {
      color: #bcbcbc;
      text-decoration: underline;
      font-weight: bold;
      }

    I have downloaded this flexy theme. I liked it. I also kept footer links as it is. Is this free theme?

    Hi Shahinraj. Thanks for this beautiful theme.

    Is there anyway to make the blog page shows excerpts instead of full posts? My blog page is pretty much just posts listed under a category I made.

      Thanks Mark for your comment.
      Showing excerpts in blog page is really good idea. I decided to add this option to the next update.

      Personally I like wordpress default excerpt option. Read more.

      You can do it easily by adding some codes to style.css

      To hide header image on page:
      .page .header-image {
      display:none;
      }

      To hide header image on post:
      .single .header-image {
      display:none;
      }

      To hide header image on a specific page:
      .page-id-2 .header-image {
      display:none;
      }
      here 2 is the page id.

    Hello Shahinraj,

    Great job I love your theme.
    I have a quick question: After the post, there is a text “This entry was posted in xxx and tagged xxx, xxx, xx on January 22, 2015 by xxx”
    Is there a way to change this text? Thanks in advance

      Hello, Thank you for your query. To do this open function.php scroll down more than 2/3 and search for text “This entry was posted” on function.php. There you will find three same text. Change there as you like and save.

      Use of child theme plugin to make any change is better, otherwise you will lose any change with update. If you feel any problem to understand, don’t hesitate to ask me.

      Thank you Malachowski for this pointing out to me. I’m extremely sorry for this problem. It just a missing of a “comma” that is “,” before line 94 of flexy/inc/flexy-customizer.php. You can do this manually by opening flexy-customizer.php in notepad and find line”$wp_customize->add_setting(
      ‘flexy_slider_visibility'” at bottom side, place “,” after that line and save. I just update new version and it may take 1/2 days to live on wordpress.org. I’m very sorry for this inconvenience.

      Hello, Thank you for your query. I don’t have any specific recommendation. I like Meta Slider (https://wordpress.org/plugins/ml-slider/). In next update I’ll try to include slider in flexy. It may take 4/6 days to live.

      On style.css you can change color. In line 1540 for border-top and border-bottom. In line 146 for all right hand side border. In line 1607 for main-navigation li ul li.
